James R. Davila is professor of early Jewish studies at the University of St. Andrews School of Divinity. His publications include Hekhalot Literature in Translation, The Provenance of the Pseudepigrapha, and The Dead Sea Scrolls as Background to Postbiblical Judaism and Early Christianity. He is also coeditor of Old Testament Pseudepigrapha: More Noncanonical Scriptures vol. 1.
Richard Bauckham is professor emeritus at the University of St. Andrews and senior scholar at Ridley Hall, Cambridge. He is a fellow of the British Academy and the Royal Society of Edinburgh. His publications include “Son of Man” vol. 1: Early Jewish Literature, Jesus and the Eyewitnesses, and The Bible in the Contemporary World. He is also coeditor of Old Testament Pseudepigrapha: More Noncanonical Scriptures vol. 1.
