M. Craig Barnes
M. Craig Barnes directs the Association for Theological Schools’ Theologies for Pastoral Ministry project, which aims to develop new theological books on practical pastoral ministry. Prior to holding this role, Barnes served as president of Princeton Theological Seminary from 2012–2023. Barnes previously taught at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and served as a pastor to congregations in Colorado, Wisconsin, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania. His books include The Pastor as Minor Poet: Texts and Subtexts in the Ministerial Life, Searching for Home: Spirituality for Restless Souls, and Diary of a Pastor’s Soul: The Holy Moments in a Life of Ministry.
